Staff Updates

Darren Mochrie recently received an award from the Mayor of Rochester, New Hampshire for his volunteer work with Rochester’s Ward 1 Safety Committee.  As Chair of the Committee, Darren helped organize events such as a neighborhood Earth Day cleanup and raise funds for community projects. 

Melissa Cohen is lending her organizational and market research skills to help businesses in the northern area of Old Town, Alexandria form a new North End Business Association (NEBA) that will provide marketing, advocacy, and promotional support.  Melissa is volunteering her time organizing and participating in educational meetings of local business owners, surveying businesses to understand their needs, and marketing the new association at events to help build a membership base.

David Gray and his wife Sarah have a new addition to their family! Charlotte Tucker Gray was born on May 10, 2010, weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 21 inches in length. Mother and child are both doing well.

Michael Casino – Project Manager and GIS Director

Since joining RKG in 1989, Michael has been an integral part of the RKG team by working within all aspects of the firm’s core areas – planning, economics and real estate.  As a dedicated planner and cartographer, Michael’s passion for detail and quality are present in every piece of work that he produces.  Michael’s skills have recently been put to use on many projects including economic impact modeling in New Haven, Connecticut, and a transportation environmental impact study in Derry, New Hampshire.  Outside of his time at RKG, Michael is an avid world traveler, collector of antique maps and books and can often be found attending various arts and cultural events around New England – including music, art and theatre.
